Open Question: Why are Black Men/with White Women more accepted than White Men with Black women?

It just seems like society comes down harder on us if we date outside of our race. My dad told me to never date a white man and I've been told by several other relatives the same thing. But my dad had dated other races of women before and after my mom and tons of my male cousins are married to non-black women. I'm kinda sorta dating this guy who happens to be White and I haven't really told anyone in my family except for my mom and my siblings, and they seem to accept it and I know my dad would toss a fit if he found out.What gives? Are Black women not welcome to assimilate with other cultures. I'm every for interracial dating/couples and every but I feel as though Black women are called traitors for dating others and Black men are "congratulated" for it and it's seems like it's somewhat of an accomplishment and a bragging right for them to date a non-black lady.

k so heres my problem i recently met this girl that is the adore of my life. she is a freshman this year and i am a sophmore. I have known her my whole life but just got to really know her and started to date her two months ago. the first month was amazing. i had finally found someone who loves me and someone i can adore with every my heart and soul. or so i thought. in the last month she has been paying alot of attention to another guy, that she was talking to before we got together. he is a senior and is one of the most popular kids in school. he plays basketball, which im pretty good at but not as good as him, he's fit, tone, and drives a mustang, ya know the type..well the way we communicate at school the most is written notes passed secretly between people in the halls. well they pass notes every the time which she is afraid to let me read. he does have a girlfriend which is in the same class as my girlfriend. the point is they have been talking alot in and out of school to the point were she talks more to him then me most of the time. he is kinda the school man whore and even though he is in a relationship he messes around with alot of other girls. i can literally feel tension in the air when im with her and he is around. u have to understand that every girl pal ive ever had has cheated on me behind my back and because of that im constantly parinoid and afraid to receive my heartbroken again. Open Question: Coldfusion when select value display records with that value?

Hey Everyone, I have asked this question before but i am just not understanding. What i am trying to do is at the top i am going to have links. The links are to the values that appear below the field status in my ticket table on my sql server. So for example in my status field i have the value Open. At the top you will look Open an when you click on Open below in the table (where every the records are displayed) it will only display records with the value of Open . But i can not seem to receive the link part of this working. right now this is what i been trying to do ticket holds are every the records SELECT pk_ticketID,status,title, date_last_modified,date_submitted,customer_company FROM dbo.tbl_CS_ticketMaster this is the link at top which the user should click. if someone could explain to me what i am doing wrong i would really appreciate it :). Open Question: Is this a legal eviction in NYC when a landlord gives 7 day notice but no valid reason?

I rent a room in a brownstone in NYC on a week to week basis. Any time in the past that I've asked the landlord to fix something, he always says that he doesn't have the money to make any repairs. I constantly make his aware that these repairs need to be made if I'm paying rent. The landlord told me that it wasn't my business what happened to the money that I gave him after it was given to him regardless of repairs needed to the place. One night I return home and I look what looks like a eviction notice that was dated the 17th and the date was the 20th giving me a 7 day notice to vacant the premises. The date on the notice says I have to be out by the 22nd. Honestly the letter looks like it may not be valid, Like it was typed on a typewriter. When I called to talk with him the only reason that he gave me was that he was uncomfortable and that he wanted the place back and he basically doesn't like me and to just contact his attorney. Is this grounds to legally evict me? What should I do? Should I battle it?

Open Question: Was eHarmony wrong in what they did?

The company was going to be sued because they told a gay person that they usually cater to male/female clientele. The person had a lawsuit of discrimination against them, but it was settled out of court. eHarmony will set up another site for gays in the future. I just think with so many sites for every people, why did this person, (probably knowing) that it was male/female clientele want to cause so much trouble. There are dating sites for Blacks, Asians, Jewish, Christian, Hispanics, transvestites, gays, just about for anyone out on the internet. It wasn't like he didn't have a choice. One caller to a TV show stated it was like her going to a Kosher market and demanding that they sell non-Kosher. Now this is not a "mean-spirited" question but just one that really did not set well with me. What do you think?

Okay, I know this may seem like an ignorant question - but suddenly I feel confused.. I can't remember the exact date of the last day of my last period but today would be around/about 7 weeks - but today is exactly 5 weeks from when the unintentional part of making a baby happened (lol!) TMI sorry!!! (we are VERRRY excited so please no one think we don't want this wonderful miracle!!!) My OB-GYN won't look me until I'm around 10 weeks along - they scheduled me for Dec. 10th... So, how far along would I say I am? Also, they told me I could bring a blank VHS to the dr's appointment - what if I'm not quite 10 weeks... I stay with my boyfriend in his apartment. He's a really sweet person although I don't trust him with females. He constantly tell me how glad he is to be with me and how I make him glad and every that mushy stuff. Ok, the other night my boyfriend was on the computer while I was studying (college students). He received a call (usually he never answer them) from a girl and they talked shortly. i lost my DL allow, so i went to DMV to receive another one,(they put DUP over the issued date) my 1st permt i got it may 27, so if i hadnt lost it by February i would have the 9 months period which i have to wait to receive my driver license. so my question is: do i have to start my months over again since i lost my allow or i can still receive my driver license on february?

My parents are very strict with me, so this can make things difficult. I am 18 and have been dating the guy I am with for almost 2 years. Open Question: What is up with this?

My boyfriend called me (he is at work- a school teacher) and I am at work (at a law firm) and he wanted to discuss a few dates for us to receive our schedules together. We were hanging up and I said "I adore you" and he said "ok" and I said did you hear me and he said "yes" and I said it again and he said "Ok" and thats what I said "what is wrong with you??" and he said let me call you back. which he did a couple minutes later. His excuse was that his principle walked into the room and they arent suppose to be on their cellphones. If that was the case saying "Let me call you back" wouldnt that be worse than saying i adore you and just hanging up. Because "Let me call you back" implies that he will be using the phone again (when he isnt suppose to). Well he called me back a few minutes later and told me this about his principle walking in and I was upset with him... and just as he said I adore you to me... MY BOSS really walked in with a repair man to fix something in my office. So I in my upset state and wanting to receive off the phone quickly said "ok" and he called me an "@$$hole" and hung up on me. I texted him what happened about my boss coming in with the repair man and called him but no response. I then texted if he was going to break up with me to please let me know (bc he is always threatening to do that when he gets mad and so now I just anticipate it during arguments). He hasnt read the messages yet. (sent through BB messenger). Am I just being sensitive ? I think its weird that he wouldnt say it back because his "principle" walked in. so now im at work every upset and red because of this. Open Question: How should i deal with my unreasonable and hateful mom? i'm pregnant, but she's semi-racist?

I'm almost 20 years old, i no longer live at home, and have lived with my current boyfriend these past two years. my mom is semi-racist, meaning she doesn't hate based on race, but believes you shouldn't date outside you race. my boyfriend is black, and i'm white, i've been with him for 3 years, and were extremely glad. however my mom refuses to receive to know him and says he can't arrive over to her home for x-mas, ect. because he's black. the biggest problem is we're expecting our first child,and she is not glad. says she'll always look a white women with a black baby when she sees me with my daughter, and is embarrassed that i'm having her, she wanted me to abort my pregnancy. how do i deal with her? i live in a different state, close my dad and his family, should i just clip ties with her? she's my mom and i've always been the bigger person when it came to problems between me and her? is it time to give up? also how am i supposed to explain to my kids why grandma wont let daddy arrive to her home?

Open Question: Does he love me and want to be with me in the end?

My ex boyfriend and I dated and lived together for 8 months... during the end of the relationship he was going through a lot of stress in his life and I was spiraling into stress in depression...At one point I was basically frantic because I was going through a real high stress time... Essentially it was too much for him to deal with as he felt pressure and suffocated so we ended the relationship...During the last month of our relationship, he had started cheating on me with another girl...I told this girl many times that I was his girlfriend and to please respect that but maybe she was naive or believed what he told her and continued a relationship with her... So when we broke up he continued his relationship with her as it was very non committal because she was leaving the country forever in 1 months time...After breaking up we did not look each other for a good two weeks we would talk but just randomly...one day he came to my place to hang out as friends and he forced me to have sex with him (I did not know he was calling this other girl his girlfriend at the time). When we were done I said to him please don't do that again, I don't want to be having relations with you as we are not together.. He started crying and became super upset and telling me how much he loved me and then left...a week later I was sexually assaulted... I went through a really difficult time and my ex was there to help me through it.. He lost his job cause he didn't go to work cause he was upset and i was not working... so we would spend every day together from 6am - 7pm and then he would go home to his girlfriend who didn't work either and would wait for him every day long this was going on for 3 weeks..so I end up finding out I'm pregnant.. I was 100% sure it was my ex boyfriends due to when I ovulate and the fact that he finished inside of me..but he was very adament that it could have been through the sexual assault..luckily a couple of days later I ended up having a miscarriage..any way so his girlfriend leaves the country and things between us receive very crazy.. He wanted to be with me I didn't cause I was very resentful of how he acted when I found out I was pregnant...I would push him away and he would just receive crazy so I decided to help him because I felt sorry for him that his girlfriend had just left and he didn't know what he wanted for himself... Essentially I got really feed up with him and told him to receive out of my life and never talk to me again and I decided to email his girlfriend and let her know everything that was going on while she was in the country...My ex gets crazy mad at me says every mean thing in the world to me and I dish it right back and we say we are never going to talk again...a week later he calls me and begs me to look him...I tell him I only have five minutes and he agrees.. I go to look him and he is just apoligizing to me..five mins pass and I tell him I need to go..he begs me to stay and I say no.. he tell me to wait for one second as he went to the other room.. he comes back and handcuffs me to him with police handcuffs and throws the key away and forces me to stay.. for six hours I tried to find a way to break the handcuffs, clip them, clip my hand but nothing worked...I would yell at him and tell him why do you want to keep me here if I don't want to be here with you.. essentially we found a tool to unlock the cuffs and I left...any way it was basically crazy like this for 2 months.. mind you he was still in a relationship with this girl who lived in another country now... I know we went through craziness and every but through that whole time I realized that I really loved him and changed to how he wanted me to be but the only problem was he was still in a relationship and she was coming back here in a couple of weeks... He tells me that even though he loves me and wants to be with me, he can't.. He just thinks about every the stuff that happened and he can't be with me.. So he tells me he want to try with this girl and look what happens... I agree and we spend the last day together before his girlfriend comes back... that day I was having a going away party for a pal and he tells me this is not only a going away party for your pal, its also a goodbye from me because we will no longer look each other.. so he leaves my place and once he gets home he calls me and out of no where starts saying why did you do every those thing (when I didn't want to be with him), ever since than everything changed I can't be with you because of that, I adore you so much..and me on the other end of the phone, I'm just crying and telling him I adore him and I would do anything in the world for him... so we end up falling asleep on the phone together...From then on it was stated that I would not call him what so ever (since his girlfriend was back)... so the next day (the first day his girl was back), he calls me in the night and asks me how I'm doing and tiny chit chat for 20mins or so...so that was monday..tuesday we don't talk

Open Question: What should i expect?

I am nineteen and was arrested and cited a ticket for: Poss. of Alcohol, Poss. of Marijuana, and a paraphernalia charge. every on one occasion in the great state of Louisiana. I was visiting family(i live in new york) and got pulled over while with a cousin. It was about a week before i left for home (ny) so i just went. They never told me a date to appear in court either. I wish i could show you guys the ticket. It shows you how behind some southern states are! The ticket had no contact information on it it simply stated: Call Parish sheriff's office for info. Also, the little cousin i mentioned is sixteen, 5'4", about 100lbs and his arresting officer felt obliged to slap him around and literally through him into the vehicle we were hauled off in! Which was an ATV called a Gator.

Open Question: What should I ask for from my boyfriend for Christmas?

It's our first Christmas together as a couple (dating for 3 months) but we've known each other for about 10 years. He keeps asking me what I want for Christmas but I can't think of anything. If I want or need something, I'll go and receive it. I believe Christmas is the time of giving rather than receiving and I keep thinking of others before myself.

I have a boyfriend ive been seeing for some time about 8 mouths now and his teeth are certainly not in the best of health and his breath stinks something awfull. This is surely not my usual to date someone with needy hygiene espeically when it arrive to teeth . Since i have been with him i have had to be like his mom about brushing his teeth on a regular basis. He went to the docter about i month ago for a pimple or it looked like a pimple and the doctor said it was an abcess that i guess started out as a pimple and when he popped it got extremely infected he had to receive it drained and stuff. During the procedure the doctor said of course when he saw his teeth that this infection could have been from his teeth. i was really embarrased about the whole situation. then not too far after that he got an ant bite that turned abcessed also,first we thought maybe he had mersa that staff infection we got him checked for that also, it was negative. A bit before every of this i got some bacterial infections yeast infections things i have never had before i am aware that the yeast could be nothin to do with him, but since every of his abcesses i have gotten three cists in other places if you know what i mean i have never had these before and my mom whos an RN brought it to my attention about every the things that could happpen to the partners of people who have bad teeth so i went and looked it up and saw this site. What do you think about this situation? And do you think that his infected mouth could cause me health problems with my body?

Open Question: Third date and things got pretty heated fast, help please?

before you answer I am not a slut or an easy girl, this is something that i never do, but this guy makes me feel like every women should feel and that is wonderful. So SERIOUS answers please. well i recently have been dating this wonderful guy, he cooks, he goes out of his way to please me. I have been to his home before but nothing happened he cooked we went to a movie and we played video games after that. I was really glad that he wasn't thinking about sex. The next day on the phone we were talking he said that its not about sex with him he wants someone that he can talk to like a companionship, and that i was an easy person to talk to. We always talk for hours on the phone. Last night, he cooked chili we kinda made it together and it was fun, he said we make good chemistry in the kitchen. We started to watch a movie, until he started seducing me. I wanted to have sex and he wanted to have sex also. It every felt right. It wasn't like something that was quick, the whole ordeal lasted 2 hours, everything from sex to a full body massage and 1 hour of cuddling and talking and then more oral sex from him. He didn't want me to leave but i had to. After every of that he was just smiling every night. He asked me when could he look me again, so today im going to look him and we are doing something saturday. The thing is now i want an exclusive relationship with him, should i ask him or wait until his ask me. He said he is so glad that he met me and that for the past month i have made his whole year wonderful.

Open Question: My samsung phone stopped getting service for no reason, why?

Last night around midnight my phone stopped getting service and i'm not sure why. I normally receive it in my room but then i stopped like not a single bar then i went out to the living room and still no service so i went to snooze and in the morning still the same thing then every of a sudden i got a bunch of texts and then back to no service and it's been like that ever since when ever i turn my phone off and on again i have to set the date and time and it just doesn't receive service

Open Question: Dating Advice Please!! I'm 27 and met this great guy about a month ago through a mutual friend.....?

We live 3 hours apart but have been talking on the phone and seen each other 3 times since we first met. In the beginning he was calling me most of the time and our phone conversations were great (we even talked on the phone for 5 hours one night). We both thought there was a good connection between us. When we hang out he is affectionate, opens doors for me and says complimentary things. Over the past week or so I feel like things are changing a little bit. He doesn't answer the phone right away and has acted distracted by his friends when we are talking. When he doesn't answer he always calls back within the hour and still says things like "when you arrive visit next..." I called on Sunday and he said he was sleepy and apologized and asked if he could call me the next night. So he did call and the conversation seemed to be back to normal. That was 4 days ago and I haven't heard from him. So my question is: Is he still interested or just being polite? Is he just more relaxed about where things are going since it has been a month? Do I continue to call him or wait till he calls me OR do I just ask him flat out how he feels this is going? Please HELP!!

Open Question: ovulation question? tryin 4 a baby!?

i no you ovulate 14 days from the first day of your period. some people have a date of ovulation, does this mean if u have sex on this day u have a greater chance of conceiving??? and what about unprotected sex after ovulation?? any advice
